There is real division in the pilot (and non-pilot) community over this video. Many say that this is reckless, while others see no problem with it. It may not be particularly dangerous, but it’s also not particularly smart.

I can understand why... I’m not sure he should be risking so much for a video... specially flying such a large jet, if it were a smaller aircraft I think it’d be safer. I do wonder what role the ground effect plays there.

That bank angle at that altitude? If a pilot tells you that’s not reckless, then I would highly recommend NEVER letting that pilot fly you or your loved ones anywhere.

Him making faces at the camera and not looking out the window at that height seals any and all doubt. I’m not saying he’s Bud f**ckng Holland, but he’s got the same problems that led to this:
